Job Summary:
The Strategic Lead – South Asia will focus on identifying project opportunities and building connections with developers, real estate companies, and AEC stakeholders in South Asia. The role involves gathering market intelligence, attending industry events, and coordinating with internal teams to showcase Aedas’ work. This position supports the Country Head in driving business development activities across South Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain professional relationships with developers, consultants, and other industry contacts.
• Coordinate with Aedas’ Global Business Development & Communications Teams to drive brand alignment and consistent messaging.
• Attend meetings, industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to engage with potential clients and partners.
• Gather and analyse market insights, competitor activities, and project opportunities; provide regular updates to the Country Head to support business development plans.
• Monitor government portals, procurement platforms, and private sector channels for potential projects.
• Work with internal and external teams to prepare tailored and complex proposals and presentations. • Maintain accurate records of contacts, opportunities, and activities in CRM systems.

• Strong understanding of real estate, infrastructure, and design consultancy sectors in the region.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to interact with senior decision-makers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English, Hindi, and relevant regional languages are required to effectively engage with stakeholders across the Indian and regional markets.
Requirements & attributes:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. • Background in Architecture or Interior Design is highly valued.
• 8–10 years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years in the AEC industry.
• Proven track record of managing proposals and tenders in the region.
• Familiarity with international best practices in proposal development and presentations.
• Knowledge of procurement processes for public and private projects in India and South Asia.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; knowledge of Adobe InDesign or similar software is a plus.
